Everyone is born with the heart and mind as well as
some talent. Usually, these are artistic talents. But it would be amiss if we say that everyone is a born artist. Instead, everyone is born-to-be-
artist. That means, it's
not that a painter had asked his mother to bring
paint brushes right when
he entered this world. He found happiness in art
and brushed himself in
colors of artistic life.

One could say, "Hanging out with my friends make
me happy. " Is that a
talent ? Not at all, a true happiness respites
one's soul. The kind of happiness you get on scoring a centum at a
Maths exam.
Don't feel low by thinking that being an artist
means being an actor,
photographer or painter. If you have 'talent' of making a delectable coffee that no one else makes, you are an artist. If you can manage to manipulate
someone who comes complaining a
malfunctioning microwave to buy a plasma TV, you are an artistic troubleshooter. If you can visualize and solve a physics question moving your fingers in the air and calculating the numbers with fun, you are an artistic number cruncher.
Art is everywhere. But, unfortunately, artists are not. Many of artists discover it but quit, just because they think it would not be enough to make both the ends meet.
Well, I'm not a motivational speaker to tell you that
"someday you will get
it" and all that blah. All I know is that it is okay to be
professional. But never murder your talent. It would be like choosing
100 acre land for farming at the cost of 1 acre land that had gold beneath it.
